Flare-Ups That Spread
Skin flare-ups can become increasingly uncomfortable as itching leads to scratching, making the skin feel more irritated and spreading.
Whether associated with eczema, dermatitis or psoriasis, keeping the skin well moisturised can help support its natural barrier and provide lasting comfort.

During a flare-up, Rosie found the best results came from applying 1–2 heaped teaspoons of Aru to each affected area at least 4 times a day, especially before bedtime, to keep the skin generously moisturised and soothed.

Rosie's Gentle Guidance
Rosie also found it helpful to reduce everyday irritants while the skin settled:
-
Choose fragrance-free soaps, shampoos and shower products.
-
Use eco-friendly, fragrance-free laundry detergents.
-
Wear breathable cotton clothing where possible.
-
Avoid perfumes and heavily fragranced products on sore skin - including fabric fresheners.
-
Wear gloves when using household cleaning products and choose gentler, eco-friendly cleaners where possible.

Ellen's Experience
" I used Aru when my flare up started spreading up my neck and used really gentle soaps and it cleared up really quickly. I was really gentle with my skin for a few weeks after just to be safe!"
