Very Dry Patches

Very dry patches can leave skin feeling tight, rough and uncomfortable. Without enough moisture, the skin barrier can weaken, making it more prone to itching, flaking and irritation.

Rosie found that applying Aru generously and regularly helped keep dry skin comfortable.

Use around 1 teaspoon on each dry patch 3–4 times a day, increasing to 1–2 heaped teaspoons for larger or particularly dry areas.

Applying before bed helps nourish the skin overnight

Rosie's Gentle Guidance

Alongside regular moisturising, Rosie found it helped to:

  • Keep showers warm rather than hot.

  • Use fragrance-free soaps and shampoos.

  • Wear soft cotton clothing.

  • Choose eco-friendly, fragrance-free laundry detergents.

  • Moisturise soon after bathing while the skin is still slightly damp.

Daniel's Experience

" My hands and elbows had really tight dry patches, I started showering in luke warm water that was comfortable but not too hot and using the Aru afterwards really helped. My skin was much better for it, the heat from my showers was definitely making it worse."

Every jar carries a little of Rosie's story, and a little of yours too.
